- November 11, 2009 – Street Angels Ministry Leadership Roles Meeting
As many of you may know, the Street Angels Ministry has recently started up again this past month after going through a “revamping” of sorts. This means new opportunities to find a way to be involved in helping this cause! On Wednesday night, November 11, we will be holding a meeting at the Missiongathering Office in Hillcrest:

The tentative time for this meeting as of now is for 7:00 pm. Any changes will be announced on the website. If Street Angels has touched your heart, and you have a desire to commit to a leadership role in this ministry, we will be discussing and designating the various opportunities available.

Street Angels Ministry (SAM) is a homeless youth ministry that exists to show love, grace and care to homeless youth and meet the immediate needs of this often under-served population. Help a young person this holiday season. There are many ways for you to be involved this winter:

Cook a Thanksgiving Side Dish

We will be cooking a Thanksgiving meal for the 22 residents at Sunburst Youth Housing. Bring a side dish Missiongathering’s office. Sign-up to cook a dish during a Missiongathering service or email Anna.
Volunteer at Project Homeless Connect

December 5th @ 9am-4pm
Project Homeless Connect is like a street fair with booths offering social services for San Diego’s homeless population. We will be walking with homeless people, helping to navigate them through the fair at Golden Hall.
Tell the Story of Hope

The Month of December
Jedidiah Clothing Company will be collecting stories of hope seen in the lives of homeless youth. From these stories, a t-shirt will be created and a portion of the shirt sales will be given to Street Angels. Share your story online at http://www.jedidiahusa.com/community.
